Daimler Trucks Asia Welcomes Amata Corporation PCL’s Chairman to its Headquarters in Japan

Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA) recently welcomed Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, founder and Chief Executive officer of AMATA Corporation PCL to its headquarters in Kawasaki, Japan. Mr. Kromadit met with Mr. Hartmut Schick, President and CEO of MFTBC and Head of Daimler Trucks Asia, and Mr. Michael Kamper Senior VP Head of Sales and Marketing and Customer Service to discuss future business opportunities. He also experienced first-hand the main processes which goes into the production of Mitsubishi FUSO trucks, including a guided tour of the Production Plant & Assembly line, Quality Management Lab, Product R&D Design Studio.

The Kawasaki plant opened in 1941 and is the mother plant for the FUSO Brand and part of the Daimler Trucks global production network. Kawasaki Plant is also where the popular light-duty Canter model is being produced. 

Mr. Kromadit also accepted an invitation to visit the FUSO Dealership in Nagoya, one of FUSO’s ‘Lighthouse’ dealerships to see an example of the business network in Japan.
